Australian Travel Agent Scams Vacationers Out Of $200K

Former owner of Travelscene American Express, Jennifer Pfitzner is said to be on the run from authorities this past year when a large number of complaints came in from customers including a 67-year –old cancer survivor.

Travelscene reported Pfitzner to Australian police who had been scamming customers well after her termination with the company.

The company refuses to refund any costs to the victims seeing that Pfitzner was only a franchise owner.

There are many scams in the travel industry today. A big one to look out for is the timeshare resale scams. Companies will contact timeshare owners who want to sell their properties claiming to have a buyer ready to purchase. They will ask for upfront fees to cover the costs of the transaction. However, there is more than likely no buyer. The FBI is cracking down on these fraudulent businesses, and many states are passing laws to prevent these scams from happening. Transfer on the Spot has the legal and fast way out of your timeshare contract.
